Yarn is so delicious, I seriously have an addiction. But when I cannot afford to feed my addiction, I love doing YYMN customs, its like driving a porche without having to pay the payment! HA!
Today I got some yummy yarn in the mail that I cannot wait to knit!
Its Dear Husband's "Aloha Kane" on Organic Gaia Merino Bulky! Its so so so so so soft and squishy, and I cannot wait to stick it on my needles!!

Teeny Tiny Woolies
This morning I finished off the first pair of woolies for my Grand Opening! They are so tiny and precious!
Knit with Claudia Hand painted yarn. I used a modified version of the "Jungle Gym" pattern, to make them small enough to fit a newborn baby for Coming home from the hospital. I remember when Addison was born, I brought a newborn out fit, preemie outfit, and 0-3mos sized outfit and the only one that fit her was the preemie.. and she was an average sized 7lb baby.
So this set was made with that in mind. I did a 5.5 inseam as well so they are true newborn sized :)
Here's a sneak peek!

Why Im the Shizz.Knitz
HeY hEY HeY!
First of all I would like to thank you for visiting my blog!!
My name is Korin. Im a happily married mother of three. I work full time in the hospitality industry, and have recently decided to try my hand at starting my own knitting business.
I thoroughly enjoy making hand knitted quality items for children and would love to share my talent with the world.
I started knitting 4 years ago after discovering that if I knit my son things myself.. it saves me a hell of alot of money! I fell in love with hand knitted items through cloth diapering my son, and using knitted pants and soakers as cloth diaper covers.
I also.. have a weakness for yummy yarn! Its like candy to me. So there came my obsession with knitting.
Throughout the past 4 years I have dedicated alot of my free time to teaching myself new skills through books, videos and practice practice practice. Ive knitting countless items for my family members, friends, and have been doing custom items for people for the past few years. So now, Id like to offer my one of a kind knitted items to whomever would like to purchase them!
How I got the name for my business
Well, for those of who you know me... you can pretty much see the title and say "thats soooooooo you" LOL!
But for those of you who do not know me.... Im a very outgoing, humorous, and goofy person. Growing up, my friends and I would have all sorts of funny sayings, lingo, names for eachother, and just crazy words we would come up with. Among them, was the term "thats the shiznit!" I remember thinking I was so cool when I said that! We also said things like "thats tits" and "thats the bomb diggity" but those sayings were not nearly as fitting!
So there you have it.. Shizz.Knitz was born!
'
So There you have it
Please do share the word with friends and family alike. Soon I will be opening a store on Etsy and Hyenacart! :)
